What is Ad Hoc IT Support?

Ad-hoc IT Support is a pay as you go technical support service that is charged in 15-minute increments at a set hourly rate.  All new and existing IT support requests are tracked in our customer helpdesk system, including the time spent on each support request.

How do we charge for the service?

All Ad-hoc IT support clients are invoiced once a month for any “Time and materials” charges. At the end of every month, you will receive an invoice that contains a breakdown of your support requests, including a ticket reference number and the time spent on each ticket.

There is no service retainer charge, just a one-time fee for your initial client on-boarding site visit that is completed when you first sign up for Ad-hoc IT support.

What does our service include?

All of our pay as you go customers receive the same level of support that is provided to our contracted IT support customers. The only difference is that ALL services are chargeable, including services that are normally included in our fully managed service contract.

There is also no SLA, although we will always endeavour to resolve your IT issues quickly and efficiently!

 

To summarise, you will get:

  • Telephone & remote technical support Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm
  • Unrestricted onsite field technician support when required.
  • 3rd party application support
  • Supplier management (internet, telephony etc.)

Absolutely!  We provide day-to-day telephone and remote technical support to businesses with staff that work between the office, home and any other remote locations they choose to work from!
